Dual-Mode Headphone

2013 레드닷 디자인 어워드 '모바일 라이프스타일' 부문에서 우승작에 선정된 'LG전자' 소속 디자이너『염일수』씨와

『최은지』,『이나리』씨가 공동으로 디자인한 컨셉트 헤드폰 '듀얼 모드 헤드폰' 입니다.

듀얼 모드 헤드폰은 블루투스 방식의 넥밴드형 디자인으로 이어폰 및 자체 스피커를 내장하고 있어 실내외 어떤 환경에서도

두 가지 모드 중 하나를 선택해 사운드를 즐기실 수 있습니다. 여러 사람이 이용하는 대충교통이나 실내에서는 주위사람에게

피해를 주지 않는 이어폰을 사용할 수 있고, 등산이나 야외 활동시 스피커 모드로 전환하여 사운드를 즐길 수 있습니다.

이어폰은 넥밴드의 자석에 의해 고정시킬 수 있으며, 터치 패널로 간단한 터치만으로 전원 On/Off 및 볼륨 조절이 가능한 설계로

이어폰이나 블루투스 스피커를 각기 따로 구매하지 않고 하나로 구입해 만족할 수 있는 제품 디자인입니다.

People love to listen to music when they do outdoor exercise such as cycling, jogging, hiking, and so on. Since headphones

shut out external sounds, however, it is difficult for the wearer to know exactly what is going on beside or behind them.

This can be a cause of serious accidents.
The embedded speaker in Dual-Mode Headphone allows the wearer to listen to their favourite songs in the ‘open air’, without

shutting out external noises. In other situations, when noise cannot be emitted (such as on the train or bus), the ear buds can be

used instead. They attach magnetically to the sides of the headphone set. What’s more, there is no need to look for small buttons

on the headphones while exercising. To make the music play, the wearer simply taps the front part. Tapping again turns it off.

Swiping the side backwards turns the up the music volume, and swiping forward turns it down.
