접고 펼 수 있는 접이식 선반 - Stockwerk

Stockwerk

독일 출신의 디자이너『마이케 아르드(Meike Harde)』가 디자인한 '스톡베르크' 입니다.

스톡베르크는 공간 효율적인 접이식 선반으로 필요에 따라 선반을 접고 펼 수 있도록 디자인되었습니다.

선반의 각 층의 나무판은 일정한 각도로 잘려져 있어 나무판과 나무판은 경첩으로 이어져 있어 폈을때 일정한 각도로 잘려진

나무판끼리 맞물려 무게를 지탱하고 고정할 수 있습니다. 미적이 부분 보다는 실용성에 촛점을 맞춘 디자인으로

접고 폄으로써 선반의 높이도 조절할 수 있으며, 필요치 않을 시 접어 적은 공간에서도 보관이 쉽습니다.

완전히 접어 간이 탁자로도 사용할 수 있을 것 같기도 하구요. 

Reminiscent of a compressible paper model, the ‘Stockwerk’ shelf by german designer Meike Harde appears to negate its material

properties. the solid wood structure becomes a foldable object due to cuts in its side walls, which act as an alternative to plug

and screw connections. needing no assembly itself, the piece is delivered as a flat-pack item, ready to be pulled into shape. the

sides are split, mitered and fixed using piano hinges, creating a system that is fully linked together. the final height of the shelf is

customizable, as some compartments can stay closed accordingly. quick to install, the foldable nature of the furniture also makes

it easy to transport.
